LAKBAYAN: Aquaria Beach Resort Batangas

Summer is officially declared and what you have in your mind by default would either be Boracay, Palawan, or Baguio. And with the weather intensifying, we would like to go somewhere to bathe in the sun, sand, and the sea. But those locations are quite far for the urban dwellers like me. However, there is not much white sand beaches near the metro which can par with the common beach destinations and to think they are already crowded with many local and foreign tourists. However, a very great alternative for this is only a 2-3 hour drive from Manila and that is Calatagan, Batangas. 

I've been to this seaside town and was very amazed with the blue waters and the light that are not crowded which means more fun to do more activities. And in Palaya Calatagan, you can find AQUARIA Beach Resort which you can do a lot of fun summer activities from sunrise to sunset.

This new and amazing resort found in Batangas has great facilities to start with which you can't compare to any other resort in the country. When we went there to see the place personally, it is paradise for beach-hungry urban guys like me.

The beach resort is situated near the beautiful Calatagan coastline and also have a number of pools that is great for the whole family. From kiddle pools, to a river pool, and also a spiral water slide which I also did not fail to miss.

Of course, the beachside would have the most fun with a lot of things you can do in the clear and clean waters. When we reached the beach, there are trees lined up with hanging hammocks for that tropical lazy day trip. But if you want more action there are a lot of options like paddling, para sailing, and even boat rides around Calatagan. Though its not as wavy as other beaches, this is perfect for those who loves to go into the water without being swept away by the current. 

You can also do other seaside activities like beach volleyball, sand castle making or even as simply have a picnic on the each on their tents. They do also offer great food and a bar for people who love to party. I actually felt that this would be a great place for company outings this summer. Calatagan is also a great beach town and its not crowded so you can enjoy more peaceful and happier moments for your vacation.

With developments also underway for more facilities to be built in the ares to provide more service and so people can also stay overnight and have more fun. the trip to Aquaria is memorable to me now, since I had my first try on paddling and boardsailing, which can also be your first memories best to happen in this wonderful place in Batangas.
