Skyscrapers Are Now Called Makati Super Crunch

Just this year, the Makati Skyscrapers debuted this year just in time for the Datu Cup of 2018 as part of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League. As one of the top teams in the competition, they want to make an impression that even for a young team, they are here to show that they have heart and power.

Now they embraced a new team name with a solid partnership with snack brand Super Crunch made by PriFood. The brand is known to be a leading snack in the Visayas and Mindanao regions and now expanding to Luzon and Metro Manila, and having Makati to represent the brand is mutually beneficial to both parties. From this moment, they will now be called MAKATI SUPER CRUNCH. 


The partnership comes at the exciting time of the competition where games become exciting because of the "crunch" time which are very exciting, yet they also come out victorious.  Team Owner Paolo Orbeta together with the team and  Enrico Yap of PriFood Inc. were all present at the press conference of their reveal.

"We are happy with the support of Super Crunch and we are grateful to Mr. Yap for the trust in the Makati team," Orbeta says.

"We Promise to work harder and play better games so we can make Super Crunch proud of us,"says co-team owner Paolo Pineda.

"Don't look now but Super Crunch was plans to enter the PBA in the coming years and if given the chance would be like to be help also to our national team and other sports as well,"says Makati team manager Martin Arenas.

They promise to continue their quest to win the Championship cup now that they have a new identity which is a giant leap in their branding, yet its is still their performance that will matter once they are on the court.
