Operation Tulong By SM To Help Affected Typhoon Victims

Now that the stormed Pablo has passed the islands of Mindanao and Visayas, it time to rebuild and help our fellow kakabayans down south. As we here in Luzon are fortunate enough to have never felt the wrath of the typhoon this Christmas season. It would be a great and noble deed to share what we have for the victims of the recent super typhoon.

You can be part of rehabilitaion revolution with SM supermalls' Operation Tulong in selected SM Malls in the country. You may also donate through the SM Foundation Inc. Banco De Oro account number 15000-706-94.

Operation Tulong Express at SM City Cagayan De Oro had 1,221 families using the grounds of the mall as shelter during the height of Typhoon Pablo (composed of 4,838 individuals), which was 13.5% of the total number of evacuees during the Typhoon in Cagayan de Oro. With that, we'd like everyone to know that we are accepting donations for those who have been affected by the Typhoon. We have also set up Operation Tulong Express in SM Lanang Premier and SM City Davao.

Though I grew up in Laguna, I have never explored a lot of places within the first district which holds a lot of great places to visit like the first SM Supermall in the province, SM City Santa Rosa. This mall is placed in the middle of green fields and just along the national highway. FASHIONISTA: SM City FairView Look Book

SM City Fairview keeps up with the changing trends of today's fashionable society with the launch of LOOK BOOK that happened in the mall last August 24, 2012. The show featured collections from different clothing stores found in the mall. And with the coming seasons like rain and Christmas (Fall and Winter seasons) almost just around the corner, being in style with these fashion trends is a must for every fashionista!

The fashion show indeed was filled with beautiful clothes and models in which special guest include Daniel Matsunaga and Wilma Doesnt who made a mark in the runway. Even regular shoppers in the mall were glued to the event seeing the fashion show. And with its success, I congratulate the organizers for all the creative effort for this trending show!

Each year, SM City Fairview holds a fashion show that aims to promote mall’s fashion retail stores and to brand SM City Fairview as a fashion haven of the North East Metro in the long term.  For this year, SM City Fairview will be taking it a notch higher by staging again a major fashion show to be dubbed as “Lookbook” on August 24, 2012, 6pm at the Annex Atrium, SM City Fairview.

To give you an overview, the iButterfly is a fun and entertaining mobile information and couponing platform that tasks its users with catching augmented reality butterflies , each representing one or more coupons. It was previously created by Japan's Mobile Art Lab and has been successfully launched in Japan, Hongkong, Indonesia, and Singapore. When I heard that there will be a 3 Day Sale in SM City Manila, I knew I will indeed buy something really nice at a very affordable price. And when we had a preview of what is going to happen for the 3 day sale. 

As expected, the mall is jampacked with shoppers and most of them are students and government workers. And as explained to us, yesthe mall is said to be the "unofficial" mall of Chinatown since its the nearest SM Mall to the district. The mall these days is now evolving as it opens new stores and most of them are unique and very rare which makes it a great place to try something new.
