HAVAS Red PH launches ‘Red Sky Dialogues’, a knowledge-sharing event for media partners

HAVAS Red Philippines recently launched its pioneer Red Sky Dialogues, a monthly roundtable series with the aim of forming deeper engagement with media partners. The first session was attended by journalists from top media publications in the country.

Led by Phil Tiongson, Head of Mx and Director for Data Science at HAVAS Ortega, the discussion explored the latest insights on Prosumer trends. A “Prosumer” is part of the 15-20% of the Filipino population who are at the forefront of new trends, beliefs, and attitudes. They possess a keen eye for emerging media and brands, and typically set the pace of the market being 18-24 months ahead of the mainstream.

The leading global provider of smart devices, HONOR, claimed the top spot as the best camera smartphone in the recent DxOMark ranking test, dethroning its competitors with a high-ranking score of 158.  

“Exhuma” No. 1 in Korea for fourth consecutive weekend, now showing in Philippine cinemas

Exhuma, the new mystery thriller directed by Jang Jae-Hyun (Svaha: The Sixth Finger, The Priests), has topped the box office in Korea for the fourth consecutive weekend. Boasting a stellar cast led by Choi Min-sik, Kim Go-eun, Yoo Hai-jin and Lee Do-hyun, Exhuma is now showing in Philippine cinemas.

Since its release in Korea on February 22, Exhuma has grossed $68 million (USD) and is currently the highest-grossing Korean film of 2024. According to data from KoBiz, a box office tracking service operated by the Korean Film Council (Kofic), the film has had 9.5 million admissions as of March 19.

Seven Lakes Komiks Festival 2024 Brings Komiks Beyond The Metro

To be held at the cozy and laidback premises of Casa San Pablo, this event seeks to create a komiks-centric space to release new books and introduce new and old creators to each other in a relaxed community setting. 

San Pablo is rich with Komiks history, and partnering with both the Komikero Komiks Museum started by the late Gerry Alanguilan, and with Casa San Pablo, the Seven Lakes Komiks Organizing Committee aims to provide a fun filled day of reading and dialogue about komiks, connecting creators with readers, and hopefully create a new fans as well. Our event is proudly sponsored by Komikon Inc.,  (short description of Komikon),  and CARD MRI Publishing House Inc., a local publishing house under CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI), that aims to "to elevate the capacity of CARD MRI clients by providing progressive and positive stories."
