Actor-dancer Paul Salas entertains Vivo fans, selfie lovers at SM Cauayan

Young actor-model Paul Salas brought entertainment to a whole new level as he showcased his slick dance moves during top five premium global brand1 Vivo’s mall tour and store opening at SM Cauayan in Isabela last Saturday, May 27.

The energetic Salas led Vivo’s sixth mall tour and graced the opening of its ever outlet at SM Cauayan, as he highlighted the brand’s latest and most impressive product offering yet, the new “perfect selfie” Vivo V5s smartphone.

Salas, who rose to fame following his stint as finalist of GMA’s reality talent search “Starstruck Kids,” elicited loud cheers and applause from an enthusiastic crowd of Vivo fans, selfie lovers, and mall goers who got a chance to capture a perfect selfie with the young star.
Lucky audience members got the chance to bring home brand new units of the Vivo V5s and other special prizes and merchandise. The mall tour, which aims to bring the superb selfie experience closer to mallgoers and potential consumers as it promotes the “perfect selfie” V5 line, extended up to the following day, May 28.

Following his showbiz debut in 2004, among Salas’s most notable TV and movie appearances include “Forever My Love,” “Shake, Rattle and Roll 2k15,” “Kung Fu Kids,” “Wansapanataym,” “Luv U,” and “You’re My Home.”

In an apparent shift from good boy to hunk image, the 19-year-old Salas revealed through an Instagram post last year that had started hitting the gym to improve his physique. He has also been more open on sharing shirtless photos and videos on social media. With Vivo’s most advanced V5s phone, Salas’s selfies will surely be clearer and more stunning than ever.

The newly launched V5s boasts of a 20-megapixel front camera with f2.0 aperture which allows capturing crystal clear and high-resolution selfies. It is complemented by a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.2 aperture, which also takes radiant photos with an ultra-high-definition mode that can render stunning images of up to 52 megapixels.

The nationwide mall tour kicked off at SM Bicutan and SM Megamall last May 7, and continued at SM North Edsa last May 14, and at SM. Sta Mesa and SM Taytay last May 21.
The next Vivo mall shows will be held at Robinsons Iloilo and SM Valenzuela on June 3 and 4, to be graced by actor-model and Hashtag dancer Mccoy de Leon and actor-model Tony Labrusca, respectively, on the second day.

The V5s also touts the new Groufie technology, which allows landscape-panning effects in ‘groufies’ or group shots. This new feature allows up-close panoramic landscape panning effects in capturing a group without squeezing in or missing anyone. It also supports both portrait and landscape orientations so that no one is left behind in barkada shots.

It also has an improved Selfie Softlight that comes with an enhanced night mode for better-quality selfies taken at night, as well as the Beauty Face mode 6.0. Another new feature of the V5s is the App clone which allows users to log on to two different accounts using the same social media app.
