Coco Martin Brought Excitement To Shell Advance Elite Partners

From humble beginings, Coco Martin has proven himself to be the man of success. With his show FPJ's Ang Probinsyano continues to air daily on prime time TV and with several movies like "Ang Panday," and "Jack Em Popoy The Puliscredibles," proves his influence and dominance in the Philippine entertainment industry.

This is why he is also a trusted endorser for several brands which is close to what he does everyday, and being a rider was one of them. He started to ride motorbikes at an early age  in which he would use his grandmother's tricycle to earn and use them as his allowance for the day. This paved the way for his love for motorcycles which has also transcended into his series and movies. 


“Kung mapapansin nyo, lagi akong gumagamit ng motorsiklo pag gumagawa ako ng mga pelikula at soap opera kasi isa yun sa mga trademark ko eh, at isa yun sa mga passion ko kaya pinapakita ko 'to sa mga pelikula,” Coco said.

“Bata pa lang po ako, ito na ang ikinabubuhay ng aming pamilya. Ang lolo ko ay jeepney driver at ang tatay ko po ay ganun din. Ang lola ko naman ay may tricycle na pamasada. Noong matuto akong mag-motor, ipinasada ko na ang tricycle ng lola ko pangtulong sa pamilya, at pambaon ko sa eskuwela,” Coco proudly shares.

With his passion for the bikes, that is why he was chosen by Shell as the brand ambassador of Shell Advance, known for their motorcycle and scooter oils which is formulated for maximum performance and cleans and protects the engine as well. It maximizes horsepower, enhances fuel economy, keeps pistons clean, provides superior wear protection and protects against extreme heat.

In a special gathering of Shell Advance Elite Partners, Coco was the surprise guest who greeted and serenaded everyone on his opening act. He also joined in for the fun and games made for the attendees which many cannot resist the charm of the actor.

He shared to everyone that because of his love for bikes, he has 11 of them. One of which was a gift from co-actress Dawn Zulueta. Coco says that whenever he gets the chance, he rides his bike to the countryside to relax his mind from the stress of work. 

“Masarap po sa pakiramdam yung mag-bike ka at magpunta sa mga lugar na tahimik para makapag-relax,” he says.

Also as an ambassador of Shell Advance, he is also advocates road and riding safety. He admits that in the past he was a little reckless but has changed and has undergone training in riding and road safety to prove that he is a responsible rider.

The highlight of the event was the live auction which the partners would pledge how many cases they will purchase in exchange of the items. The most exciting bid was for the scooter which reached up to 550 cases and awarded to two winning bidders each getting their own bike.

To end the event, he took time to have a photo with the attendees. He congratulated all the winners and was also thrilled as he also starts his journey as the new Shell Advance ambassador.
