PAFP eyes every Filipino household with one family doctor

“We want our family physicians to have updated, evidence-based knowledge and skills in primary healthcare as we encourage one physician for every Filipino family,” said Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) Secretary Dr. Anna Guia O. Limpoco at the PAFP annual convention held last March 7, 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center. The event, with the theme “Family Physicians Advancing the Lives of Filipinos through Universal Health Care,” gathered primary care doctors, physicians, and medical practitioners to collaborate on improving the country’s healthcare system by encouraging research and providing training to primary care providers.
