Clark Global City continues to make its mark as a place of events and public participation as it continues to host new and exciting sport events even after the 30th South East Asian Games. Now on its 11th year, Clark Animo International Marathon organized by the De La Salle Alumni Association Pampanga (DLSAA-P) Chapter, now expects a bigger number of participants from different parts of the country and even some foreign delegates.
The marathon will be happen on March 8, 2020 and presented by the UDENNA company, and a state-of-the-art central business district development in Mabalacat Pampanga. It will also traverse the development which in recent years has made significant developments as it aims to be a world-class city.
The Clark Animo International Marathon 2020 features Boston Marathon qualifying IAAF-AIMS measured race routes, a 42.2-kilometer marathon, a half-marathon, as well as 10-kilometer, 5-kilometer, and 2.5-kilometer courses. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) provides a mobile application which will be helpful for the racers for the duration of the event.
"Because we aim to give the best race experience to the participants, all races are IAAF-AIMS Certified Courses," said Jumbo Tayag, race director. "This guarantees that participants run the correct distance, with a valid recorded time recognized internationally for qualifying and rankings purposes."

The race started back in 2009 with initially 600 participants and has been increasing in participants ever since. As their network grew, they also got more fellow alumni and eventually got Tata Consulting Services (TCS) as its partner known for their technical expertise and also a partner to raise funds for its various community projects on the environment and education.
Various prizes also await the winning finishers for the categories . There will be a podium winners for the first, second, and third place in the 5, 10, 21, and 42KM both for male and female runners.Special awards will also be given to the best adult and kiddie runner and also the best runner in costume.
