Pepsi Taste Challenge At Trinoma Welcomes Kathryn Bernardo


For quite some time now, it has always been Daniel Padilla seen as the face of Pepsi in the Philippines. With all of the success of the brand and DJ as an actor and performer, it seems that there is something missing to make it complete. And who would be more better to be paired up with Daniel is his queen, Kathryn Bernardo.

For 2020, Pepsi has also launched a new campaign that aims to get the public opinion on which is the better tasting cola with the Pepsi Taste Challenge. Alongside their campaign of #SundinAngPuso which has been very successful in getting people engaged with their tour around the country. 


The Pepsi Taste Challenge held at the Activity Center of Trinoma drew in an astonishing number of people to partake in the challenge as well as to see their favorite celebrities who will appear on stage and perform for their fans. Music artists like Matthaios, Autotelic, and SB19 dance and sung some of their hits in which the crowd just went crazy with many of their fan clubs cheering with every beat they make.

There were also fun activities that the public can also join and win prizes such as Pepsi-oke, a live vlogging challenge, and a digital roulette while waiting for the other celebrities to join in the fun . Big names online like Ricci Rivero, pamela Swing, JinHo Bae, Alyssa Valdez, Kiefer Ravena, and Mimiyuuh also went on stage to pump up the excitement of Trinoma.  

But the main highlight of the event welcoming the new royalty of the Pepsi Philippines brand Kathyrn Bernardo which now joins Daniel Padilla as the brand endorsers of the cola drink. This made fans very happy as she also sang and performed together with Daniel.

"Kathryn embodies a refreshing personality which Pepsi represents," said Gutzee Segura, Marketing Manager of Pepsi Philippines. "Like Pepsi, she has always been a crowd favorite. As a matter of fact, during our Pepsi Taste Challenge held in different countries around the world such as UK, France, Italy, and Australia, among others, most of the people picked Pepsi over other cola brands."

"Apart from these though, Kathryn's amazing dedication to her craft serves as an inspiration to countless fans", Gutzee shared. "With her passion and her knack for following her heart, she really personifies what Pepsi stands for," she added.

The Pepsi Taste Challenge made a blind test of the public which cola taste they prefer, and after the challenge and also verified with third party auditor, they were able to get 76% in favor of Pepsi as their cola of choice. A great indicator that Pinoys are now choosing Pepsi as their refreshment compared to the other brand.

There will be more  upcoming Pepsi Taste Test Challenge events: SM Seaside Cebu on February 22, 2020 and SM Lanang Premiere Davao on March 7. 2020.
