AXEAN Festival, the acclaimed annual regional music festival, will be taking place in Singapore on 28 and 29 October this year. Alongside live music performances by renowned and up-and-coming acts from 10 different countries across Southeast Asia and the rest of the world, the festival is partnering with a wide variety of craft beer, food, and art vendors from Southeast Asia to give festival-goers a fully immersive experience, fostering a spirit of community and collaboration. This year’s edition of the festival places extra emphasis on Asia’s indelible food culture with exclusive forward-thinking dishes inspired by flavours from across the region and a diverse range of beverages via the festival’s curated Beer Village. 

This iteration’s performers include 🇲🇾 Malaysia’s cultural icons Masdo and Zamaera, renowned lyrical storyteller Taba Chake from 🇮🇳 India, feel-good alt-rock band Helsinki Lambda Club from 🇯🇵 Japan, and many more. 

Doja Cat releases fourth studio album, Scarlet

GRAMMY Award-winning global superstar Doja Cat releases her new fourth studio album, “Scarlet” today via Kemosabe Records / RCA Records. In addition, Doja Cat dropped the music video for her new track off the album, “Agora Hills”. The music video was shot in Pomona, CA, and Koreatown in Los Angeles, CA and directed by Hannah Lux Davis (Ariana Grande / Nicki Minaj) and Doja Cat. 

Throughout the week, a replica of “Scarlet” popped up at different locations across the U.S. just before the album dropped today  – check out images of the Scarlet’s replica HERE. At each location, there was a QR code for fans to use and get an exclusive first listen to Doja Cat’s new record.

After discovering the weapon is in the form of a young child (Madeleine Yuna Voyles), Joshua begins to question the mission and the war itself.

FEU presents TUTTI HARPI concert set on Oct. 9

Get ready to string your hearts as the FEU (Far Eastern University) Center for the Arts (FCA) continues the 2023-2024 season with an All-Harp Concert featuring twelve (12) Filipino Harpists led by Madeline Jane Banta on October 9, 2023, at 5:00 PM in the FEU Auditorium. 

The concert will feature a variety of musical pieces from classical to OPM with the special participation of the FEU Dance Company and the FEU Chorale.

Disney+ recently released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Disney+ Original series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” This latest teaser begins to lift the veil on the heroic quest Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell), Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries) are about to embark on when the series debuts December 20 on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere, followed by new episodes weekly.

Ang Unang Aswang All Set To Open On October 4

The most awaited production to end the FEU Theater Guild (FTG)'s 89th season, along with the FEU Center for the Arts (FCA) is the return of "Ang Unang Aswang".

The play takes place in a dangerous forest ruled by the wilderness written by Palanca awardee playwright Rody Vera and directed by a respected member, director, and actor of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) and the appointed Artistic Director of FTG, Mr. Dudz Teraña.

Wander where the Aswang dwells! With sharp teeth, venomous stares, and the rabidness of a wild animal, the Aswang searches for her identity in a village she has not been to before.
