Misa De Gallo Diaries Day 3: Greenbelt Chapel

This chapel is one of my favorites in Makati whenever I pass by the Ayala Center. As it is located in the posh district of Makati CBD, I would have a better experience than what I had in San Felipe Neri. Passing by the chapel in the afternoon gave me the info that the dawn mass will happen at 5am.

Prior to the mass, I was able to attend 3 Christmas Parties from different groups: DepEd, Star Cinema, and The Road Trippers. Given their locations and commute time, I did spent a lot of time in the road, and domino-ed for me to be late in all of them. But it was all well since I was able to spend quality time with all of the people I have been with for this year. It has been a fruitful year indeed.

Since we had an overnight stay at the KL Tower just behind Greenbelt, getting there is no problem, however since I have been to all parties I knew that I have ate and drank a lot, well slightly.

But since my body got used to get up at the specific time, I quickly prepared myself at the stirke of 430am and walked to the chapel. Makati seems darker and scarier during this hour since everthing is closed. But eventually the fear left me when I saw the lights and heard the choir singing.

The gospel was about Joseph who is the appointed to keep Mary as his wife and prepare the way fo Jesus, and that challenge is still the hardest thing for us to do. As we celebrate prosperity, how do remain humble? In the mist of all celebration, where can we find solemnity? It will be an lifetime struggle, yet we seek wisdom and guidance to keep our feet on the ground.
