REEL DEAL: Ice Age 4 Continental Drift REVIEW

Another era has passed and our Ice Age Heroes are still here but is not facing a whole new challenge as the world goes into a whole new adventure with also new characters that will bring more laughter for the 4th installment for the Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.

Joining the original trio Manny, Diego and Sid are the animals that are their relatives. Now Manny had his own family, a wife a a daughter. Though they have survived a lot with the changes in the earth like the melting ice, dinosaurs and now face a new challenge of the drifting  continents that threatening to destroy their home.

Also add in there the sea pirate crew that will make things worse to the predicament to the gang as they are stranded in the large sea away from their families. Will they be back to reunite with their family and friends? Will they also triumph against the sea pirates? Join in the adventure now!

Ice Age 4 Continental Drift  looks also great in 3D with the colorful and detailed animation that is a tradition of Dreamworks that also amazes the adults just like the kids (like me). Be sure to watch it with the family especially the kids. They might learn a lesson or two. Also this movie includes an easter egg special feature of Simpsons in 3D, Maggie's Longest Day Care. And finally, yes, Scrat the squirrel still continues for his quest fr the coveted acorn

Technical Effects: 4 out of 5 stars (Very detailed animation that I liked and made the movie exciting than staring into blocks of ice)

Plot: 3 out of 5 stars (Yeah, it would have a fairy tale ending but w)

Acting and Actors: 3 out of 5 stars  (I would say I am happy to hear Nicki Minaj as one of the voices) 

DVD worthiness: 4 out of 5 stars (hope it includes an acorn)

Music and Soundtracks:  3 out for 5 stars (I like The Wanted's "Chasing The Sun")
