For Home Credit, being good at budgeting is as easy as Juan, Two, Three

Imagine a world where everyone is empowered to handle their finances. Here, people from different walks of life know how to make informed financial choices, whether it be on budgeting, saving, or borrowing. Even complex financial concepts such as “compound interest” are understood by many.  

This world was the exact vision brought by Prague-based consumer finance company Home Credit when it first started its operations in the Philippines five years ago. Though this may seem far-fetched, given the latest figures from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for 2017 stating that 77 percent of Filipino adults remain unbanked and 52 percent are unable to allocate money for savings, Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) made it its mission to bridge the gap in making more Filipinos included in the financial system. The company provides in-store loans to customers with minimal requirements, requiring only two (2) valid IDs, and offers other financial products such as cash loans and credit cards.

Stephen King and Stanley Kubrick.  These dual legendary namedrops were a crucial motivation for Ewan McGregor (“Moulin Rouge!,” “Star Wars” trilogy) to be on board his first-ever horror/suspense film, “Stephen King’s Doctor Sleep” (in Philippine cinemas Thursday, November 7.)

The new film continues the story of Danny Torrance, 40 years after his terrifying stay at the Overlook Hotel in Kubrick’s “The Shining.” McGregor is joined by Rebecca Ferguson and newcomer Kyliegh Curran in the season’s major horror event, “Doctor Sleep,” directed by Mike Flanagan, from his own screenplay based upon the novel by King.

Mayor Robes of SJDM City Welcomes Good News On His Birthday

The City of San Jose Del Monte celebrates the birthday of Mayor Arthur Robes during the flag ceremony at city hall. Though the actual date is on November 6, they made a program to show their love and gratitude for his service.  

Along with the many projects that Mayor Arthur, they have also received several accreditation and recognition for different departments of the city government. One of them is the Seal of Good Local Governance awards given by the DILG in recognition of municipalities and cities which has shown improvement and consistency with how they run their local units.

Members and officers of UDDS or United Defenders for Democracy and Sovereignty which is a national group which are solid supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte have come together for a night of get together with leaders coming from all of the regions of the country.

Initially they were one of the first supporters of the president to pursue his candidacy which he responded and won in the last presidential elections. They also support the shift to a Fedal type of government which is also proposed in congress.
